Composition of hot runner system

Although there are many hot runner manufacturers and various hot runner product lines internationally, a typical hot runner system is composed of the following major parts:

Key Skills for Applying Hot Runners

A successful hot runner mold application project requires multiple links to be guaranteed. There are two important skill elements involved.

1. Control of plastic temperature

Many processing and product quality issues that arise during the production process directly stem from poor temperature control in the hot runner system. For example, the problem of poor quality of the product gate during injection molding using the hot needle gate method, the problem of difficulty in closing the valve needle during valve gate method molding, and the problem of inconsistent filling time and quality of parts in multi cavity molds. Assuming that it is possible to select a hot runner system with multi zone temperature control as much as possible to increase the flexibility and strain capacity of the application

2. Control of plastic activities

Plastic needs to be active and balanced in the hot runner system. The gate should be opened together to synchronously fill each cavity with plastic. For FAMILYMOLD with significant differences in component components, it is necessary to balance the sprue standard planning. Otherwise, some parts may not be able to maintain pressure during mold filling, while others may have excessive pressure during mold filling and poor quality due to excessive flash. The standard planning of the hot runner runner should be reasonable. The standard is too small and the filling pressure is too high.

If the standard is too large, the volume of the hot runner is too large, and the plastic stays in the hot runner system for too long, which damages the material function and leads to unsatisfactory application requirements of the parts after forming.
